The theatre has seating for 112 people and there is space at the rear of the auditorium for two wheelchairs and attendants. The toilet facilities also include cubicles with wheelchair access.
The stage has an apron and proscenium arch with powered main tabs. There is ample space backstage and in the wings for most purposes but please note that height is limited owing to the flat roof and thus there are no flys.
A Leam snake provides audio cabling from the wings at stage left to the sound desk at the rear and this feeds a Behringer PMP5000 powered desk with 16 mono channels, two stereo channels and two additional mono inputs for other sources, plus a tape/CD input. There are two independent digital SFX generators on the desk and two auxiliary outputs for fold-back or other use. We also have 8 Sennheiser ES-100 “body pack” radio mics and two Sennheiser Freeport wireless hand mics available for hire if required. The desk feeds a pair of Peavey speakers either side of the stage and there are fold-back speakers in the wings for monitor or “off-stage” SFX. Alternative audio sources can be from the two NAD CD players available, tape deck, or own source if fed to an input channel.
